Product information "Anti-RIP (Receptor Interacting Protein, Cell Death Protein RIP, FLJ39204, Receptor-interacting Prote"
RIP1 belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family and promotes apoptosis and activation of NF-kappaB. It associates with the intracellular domain of TNFRSF6. Ubiquitination of RIP1 regulates an NF-kappaB-independent cell-death switch in TNF signaling. It plays a critical role in tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha)-induced I kappaB kinase (IKK) activation. It is also an essential component of the TLR3-Trif?mediated NF-B signaling pathway. RIP1 is one of the critical components involved in mediating DNA damage-induced, p53-independent cell death. It is expressed in tissues of intestine, small intestine, brain and testis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Ramos cell lysate, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
