Anti-CD49d (Integrin alpha4, VLA4, LHR, Lymphocyte Homing Receptor), FITC conjugated, clone 3H1499

The integrin alpha4 subunit is associates with either integrin beta1 (to form VLA-4) or beta7. The alpha4 integrin is a 150kD molecule which may be cleaved to 80kD and 70kD fragments. Expressed by lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and thymocytes. VLA-4 mediates cell adhesion to VCAM-1 and fibronectin. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 100ul whole blood or 10e6 cells in 100ul., Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the SP2.0-Ag14 mouse myeloma cell line. Recommended Negative Controls: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control: FITC, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. , Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
