Product information "Anti-Ah Receptor (Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor, AHR, Aromatic Hydrocarbon Receptor, BHLHE76, Class E Ba"
Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) is a 96kD ligand-activated transcription factor expressed in all tissues tested. AHR binds planar aromatic hydrocarbons and plays a role in regulating biological responses to them. It activates expression of xenobiotic chemical metabolising enzyme genes such as cytochrome P450. AHR is also involved in cell-cycle regulation and is thought to be involved in tissue maturation. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
