Product information "Anti-Histone H4, acetylated (Lys5) (Histone Cluster 4 H4, H4/p, HIST4H4, MGC24116)"
Core component of nucleosome. Nucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability. DNA accessibility is regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications of histones, also called histone code, and nucleosome remodeling. Applications: Suitable for use in ChIP, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested., , Recommended Dilution:, ELISA: 1:1,000 , Western Blot: 1:600, Immunofluorescence: 1:400, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
