They, along with microtubules and actin microfilaments, make up the cytoskeleton. Despite the fact that most intermediate filaments exist as stable structures, in fibroblasts, vimentin take on a dynamic structure. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and mmunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml, Flow Cytometry: 1-3ug for 1x10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C.
