Anti-STEAP (Six Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of the Prostate, STAMP2, TIARP)

Human STAMP2, also called Steap4 or TIARP (TNF-alpha-induced adipose-related protein), is a 55kD, 459aa, 6-transmembrane (TM) member of the Steap family of metalloreductases. It is induced by androgens in androgen-regulated prostate cells, and is upregulated during adipocyte differentiation by TNF-alpha. Full-length human and mouse STAMP2 share 80% aa identity. A 283aa variant lacks a portion of the oxidoreductase domain and three TM domains. STAMP2 is present in the Golgi complex and early endosomes in addition to the cell surface. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 cells using Human STAMP2 transfected HEK293 human cell line., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: A549 cells, Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
