Metalloreductase that has the ability to reduce both Fe3+ to Fe2+ and Cu2+ to Cu1+. Uses NAD+ as acceptor. Play a role in systemic metabolic homeostasis, integrating inflammatory and metabolic responses By similarity. Associated with obesity and insulin-resistance. Involved in inflammatory arthritis, through the regulation of inflammatory cytokines. Inhibits anchorage-independent cell proliferation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:20,000, Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:500, Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
