Product information "Anti-Endothelin B Receptor (ET-B, Nonselective Type Endothelin Receptor, Ednrb, ETB, ETRB)"
EDNRB (Endothelin B Receptor) is a member of the beta-family of rhodopsin receptors. It binds endothelin 1, 2 and 3, and is found on endothelial cells where it mediates vasodilation. Mature human EDNRB is a 7-transmembrane glycoprotein that is 416 amino acids (aa) in length. It contains a 75aa N-terminal extracellular region (aa27-101), and a 44aa C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. There are three EDNRB variants that affect aa27-101. One shows a 90aa N-terminal extension, a second shows the same 90aa N-terminal substitution coupled with a deletion of aa268-398, and a third shows proteolytic cleavage between Arg64-Ser65. Over aa27-101, human EDNRB shares 67% and 97% aa identity with mouse and canine EDNRB, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/10e6 cells using A172 human glioblastoma cell line., Western Blot: 1ug/ml using HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line, A172 human glioblastoma cell line and Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. , Immunocytochemistry: 5-15ug/ml using Immersion fixed A172 human glioblastoma cell line. , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
