Anti-E1A Binding Protein p300, (EP300, Histone acetyltransferase p300, KAT3B, p300, P300, p300 HAT)

E1A binding protein p300 is an E1A-associated cellular p300 transcriptional co-activator protein. It is related by sequence to CBP (CREB-binding protein [CREB: cyclic-AMP responsive element binding protein]), and like CBP can stimulate transcription through activation of CREB. E1A binding protein p300 activity is specifically inhibited by the adenovirus oncoprotein E1A. It has also been identified as a co-activator of HIF1A (hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha), and thus plays a role in the stimulation of hypoxia-induced genes such as VEGF. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry: 3ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. ?
