CRIP2 is a 208-amino acid protein containing 2 LIM domains and shares 93% amino acid sequence identity with its rat homolog, called Esp1 or Crp2. Northern blot analysis showed widespread tissue expression of the 1.3-kb CRIP2 mRNA, with the highest level of expression found in heart. In testis, a second 1.7-kb mRNA was also detected. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
