B7-2, also known as CD86, is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed on presenting cells and regulates T cell function through interaction with its receptors, CD28 and CTLA-4. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. APC is light sensitive.
