Product information "Anti-Phosphoserine Phosphatase, Human (PSP, HPSP PSPase)"
Human phosphoserine phosphatase (HPSP), specific for D- and L- phosphoserine, has been , identified in all human tissues. HPSP is a Mg(2+)-dependent phosphoserine phosphatase. The three dimensional structure of HPSP reveals the structural and functional role of the divalent cation in the active site of phosphatases. In particular, the complex structures reveal that the open-closed environmental change of the active site, generated by local rearrangement of the alpha-helical bundle domain, is important for the substrate recognition and hydrolysis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
