MEK1is a dual specificity protein kinase that belongs to the MAP kinase kinase family. This kinase is known to play a critical role in mitogen growth factor signal transduction. It phosphorylates and thus activates MAPK1/ERK2 and MAPK2/ERK3. The activation of this kinase itself is dependent on the Ser/Thr phosphorylation by MAP kinase kinase kinases. The inhibition or degradation of this kinase is found to be involved in the pathogenesis of Yersinia and anthrax. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Dot Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1:1,000 , Dot Blot: 1:500, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Do not freeze APC conjugates. Light sensitive. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
