Anti-phospho-MEK1 (Ser218, Ser222) (Map Kinase Kinase, MAPK Kinase, Erk Kinase 1), clone

MEK (MAP Kinase Kinase) phosphorylates the MAP Kinase 1 and 2 on both threonine and tyrosine residues of the activation loop motif TEY. MEK1 and MEK2 are activated by phosphorylation of two serine residues (Ser218/222 in MEK1 and Ser222/226 in MEK2). These phosphorylation sites are substrates of the Raf family of kinases. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.1ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml. HRP/ECL detection. Recommended blocking buffer: Casein/Tween-20., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control Cell Lysate (Included): M2865-10E1: MEK1, phosphorylated (Ser218, 222), Positive Control (SW480 Cell Lysate, Pervanadate Treated), Recommended for Western Blot at 20ul/lane. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
