Extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK), also known as mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK), is a family with two homologous members, ERK1 (44kD) and ERK2 (42kD). This antibody reacts with the active forms of these proteins that have specific phosphorylated Threonine and Tyrosine residues within a Thr-Glu-Tyr motif (Thr202/Tyr204 for ERK1 and Thr185/Tyr187 for ERK2). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.25-0.5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 1.2% sodium acetate. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C.
