Product information "Anti-phospho-EGF-Receptor (Tyr1173) (erbB, EGFR, Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor), Biotin conjugate"
Epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor is a 170kD single-pass transmembrane tyrosine kinase. Ligand binding to this receptor results in receptor dimerization, autophosphorylation (in trans), activation of various downstream signaling molecules and lysosomal degradation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 1-10ug/ml, ELISA: 0.05ug/ml, Immunoprecipitation: 1-10ug per 10e6 vanadate treated A431 cells., Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections, Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml for HRPO/ECL detection. Use Casein/Tween-20 based blocking and Blot incubation buffers., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control Included: H2030-03H1: HepG2 Cell Lysate, Vanadate Treated, Add 50ul SDS-PAGE sample buffer and incubate at 90°C for 5 minutes. Aliquot and store at -20°C , Western Blot: 20ul/lane (mini gel) for HRP/ECL detection. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
