Anti-Wnt9a (Wingless-type MMTV (mouse mammary tumor virus) integration site family member 9a)

Wnt-9a (Wingless related integration site family member 9a, formerly Wnt-14) is a member of the Wnt family, which are ligands for frizzled family receptors. Wnt-9a is a secreted glycoprotein expressed in skeletal muscle and heart as well as in B-CLL and gastric, pancreatic and breast cancer cells. Human Wnt-9a is 98% aa identical with both mouse and rat Wnt-9a. Applications: Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml detection limit for rhWnt-9a is ~ 3ng/well., Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml detection limit for rhWnt-9a is ~ 25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
