TNF alpha is produced by a range of cells, including macrophages and monocytes and is an important mediator of the equine inflammatory response. This 17kD cytokine is expressed by activated macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, T cells and NK cells. Reported to act as a blocking antibody (Abrams et al. 2001). Applications: Suitable for use in Blocking, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (frozen) and Flow Cytometry. Not recommended for Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 5-10ug/ml, Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul, membrane permeabilization is required for this application, Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. , Endotoxin Level: <0.015EU/ug, Recommended Secondary Reagents: F(ab')2 rabbit anti rat IgG:FITC , F(ab')2 rabbit anti rat IgG:RPE, Recommended Secondary Reagents: F(ab')2 rabbit anti rat IgG:HRP , Recommended Negative Controls: Rat IgG1 Negative Control, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
