TTLL5 Antibody is a IgG polyclonal antibody from Assay Genie with reactivity against Human and for use in ELISA applications. TTLL5 Antibody is a high quality polyclonal antibody for research use only.. Protein function: Polyglutamylase which preferentially modifies alpha-tubulin. Involved in the side-chain initiation step of the polyglutamylation reaction rather than in the elongation step. Required for CCSAP localization to both spindle and cilia microtubules (PubMed:22493317). Increases the effects of NCOA2 in glucocorticoid receptor-mediated repression and induction and in androgen receptor-mediated induction (PubMed:17116691). [The UniProt Consortium]
