Product information "Anti-TRAIL (TNF Related Apoptosis Inducing Ligand, TNF-related Apoptosis-inducing Ligand TRAIL, Apo"
CD253, also known as TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand or TRAIL, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily. When bound to the death receptors DR4 and DR5 caspase-8-dependent apoptosis is induced. However, CD253 might also be bound by the decoy receptor DcR1 which cannot induce apoptosis, and DcR2 which activates NF-kappa-B. Blocks NK cell cytotoxicity in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:5-1:10, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
