Anti-Thrombopoietin Receptor (c-Mpl) (TPO)

Thrombopoietin receptor (Tpo R), also known as myeloproliferative leukemia protein (c-mpl), is a 95kD type I transmembrane protein that is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family within the hematopoietin/cytokine receptor superfamily. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.25-1ug/ml detects TPO receptor in RIPA lysates from DAMI cells. DAMI cell lysate was resolved by, electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF and probed with T5050-50. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system., Immunohistochemistry: Stains megakaryocytes in bone marrow biopsy sections., Immunoprecipitation: 5ug immunoprecipitates TPO receptor from 500ug of DAMI RIPA lysate., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb , I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb , I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
