Anti-Tachykinin-3 (ZNEUROK1, Neurokinin B, TAC3, NKNB)

Tachykinins are active peptides which excite neurons, evoke behavioral responses, are potent vasodilators and secretagogues, and contract many smooth muscles. Tachykinin-3 is a secreted protein and its expression during pregnancy is confined to the outer syncytiotophoblast of the placenta. Plasma concentrations of Tachykinin-3 are grossly elevated in pregnancy-induced hypertension and pre-eclampsia. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
