Product information "Anti-STIM2 (Stromal Interaction Molecule 2, KIAA1482)"
This gene is a member of the stromal interaction molecule (STIM) family and likely arose, with related family member STIM1, from a common ancestral gene. It encodes a type 1 transmembrane protein whose function is currently unknown, but is a likely adhesion molecule with a role in early hematopoiesis. Alternative translation initiation from an AUG and a non-AUG (UUG) start site results in the production of two different isoforms. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
