Anti-STAT3 (Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 3) (BSA & azide free)

Stat3 protein is a transcription factor expressed in most cell types and is activated by multiple cytokines and growth factors including: IFN-a, IL-10, IL-6, IL-11, onM, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF, IL-12, IL-2, GH, EGF, PDGF, and CSF-1. Stat3 binds to DNA as either a homodimer or as a heterodimer with Stat1. Stat3 interacts with APRE (acute phase response element) and SIE (c-sis inducible element). Applications: Suitable for use in Gel Supershift and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml for 2hrs at RT., Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Jurkat cells , Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
