The cluster is coordinated with 3 cysteines and an exchangeable S-adenosyl-L-methionine .,function:May be involved in porphyrin cofactor biosynthesis.,similarity:Belongs to the anaerobic coproporphyrinogen-III oxidase family., Protein function: May be a heme chaperone, appears to bind heme. Homologous bacterial proteins do not have oxygen-independent coproporphyrinogen- III oxidase activity (Probable). Binds 1 [4Fe-4S] cluster. The cluster is coordinated with 3 cysteines and an exchangeable S-adenosyl-L- methionine. [The UniProt Consortium] Recommended dilutions: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. ELISA: 1/5000. Not yet tested in other applications.. Cellular localization: Mitochondrion .
