Product information "Anti-Phosphoglycerate Kinase1 (PGK1)"
The PGK1 gene encodes phosphoglycerate kinase-1, which catalyzes the reversible conversion of 1, 3-diphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate during glycolysis, generating one molecule of ATP. Phosphoglycerate kinase not only functions in glycolysis but is secreted by tumor cells and is proposed to participate in the angiogenic process as a disulfide reductase. Mutations in PGK1 may be associated with hemolytic anemia. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.03-0.125ug/ml, Western Blot: 1.0ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
