Anti-PDI (Protein Disulfide Isomerase, Cellular Thyroid Hormone Binding Protein, Disulphide Isomeras

Protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) is an acidic 55kD thyroid hormone-binding protein that appears to be identical to the glial-p55 protein. It has been suggested to be involved in disulfide-bond formation and isomerization, as well as the reduction of disulfide bonds in proteins. It may also play a role in the thyroid hormone-dependent regulation of actin polymerization and the degradation of the membrane-associated protein type II iodothyronine 5'-deiodinase (5'D-II). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 1:5000-1:20,000, Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:100-1:1000, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:500, Western Blot: 1:10,000-1:20,000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Cellular Localization: Endoplasmic reticulum , Storage and Stability:, May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
