Anti-Olig1 antibody is directed against mouse Olig1 protein. The antibody was Protein A purified. This antibody is suitable for immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry and immunoprecipitation. Reactivity is expected from rat. Cross reactivity with Olig1 from other species has not been determined. Protein function: Promotes formation and maturation of oligodendrocytes, especially within the brain. Cooperates with OLIG2 to establish the pMN domain of the embryonic neural tube.
