Product information "Anti-Nitrotyrosine (nTyr)"
Nitrotyrosine arises from the nitration of protein tyrosine residues, by reactive nitrogen species such as peroxynitrite and nitrogen dioxide, and can be used as a measure of NO-dependent oxidative stress and cell damage. Increased levels of nitrotyrosine are detectable in various pathological conditions including atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular disease, lung cancer and vasculitis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 2-100ng/ml, Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml, Immunoprecipitation: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Crossreactivity Data: Specificity as determined by ELISA competition experiments. Compound Inhibition Nitrotyrosine 95%, Nitrotryptophan 4%, Chlorotyrosine 3%, Phosphotyrosine 2%, Tyrosine 0% , Aminotyrosine 0%, Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06F: IgG, H&L (FITC) (X-Adsorbed) Pab GtxMo, I1904-65N: IgG (HRP) Pab Rb xMo, I1903-07E: IgG (HRP) Pab Rb xMo, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
