Nerve growth factor receptor contains an extracellular domain containing four 40-amino acid repeats with 6 cysteine residues at conserved positions followed by a serine/threonine-rich region, a single transmembrane domain, and a 155-amino acid cytoplasmic domain. The cysteine-rich region contains the nerve growth factor binding domain. Applications: Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA: <1:32,000, Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, Detects a band at ~75kD with human duodenum and human heart lysates., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
