Product information "Anti-Nav1.5 (SCN5A, Sodium Channel Protein Type 5 Subunit alpha, HH1, Sodium Channel Protein Cardiac"
This protein mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which Na+ ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. It is a tetrodotoxin-resistant Na+ channel isoform. This channel is responsible for the initial upstroke of the action potential in the electrocardiogram. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:16,000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
