Anti-MEF2A, ID (MEF2A, MEF2, Myocyte-specific enhancer factor 2A, Serum response factor-like protein

MEF2A is a DNA-binding transcription factor that activates many muscle-specific, growth factor-induced, and stress-induced genes. The encoded protein can act as a homodimer or as a heterodimer and is involved in several cellular processes, including muscle development, neuronal differentiation, cell growth control, and apoptosis. Defects in this protein could be a cause of autosomal dominant coronary artery disease 1 with myocardial infarction (ADCAD1). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, FLISA, Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100, Immunofluorescence: 1:10-50, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
