Anti-LYVE-1 (Lymphatic Vessel Endothelial Hyaluronic Acid Receptor)

Lymphatic vascular endothelial hyaluronan receptor-1 (LYVE-1), a selective marker of the lymphatic endothelium, is a surface endocytic receptor for hyaluronan (HA), which is an extracellular glycosaminoglycan involved in cell adhesion and migration. HA is widely expressed on leukocytes, dendritic cells, and tumor cell, and is identified by searching expressed sequence tag (EST) databases for sequences homologous (41%) with the metastasis related CD44 molecules. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Derived from hybridization of mouse SP2/O myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human LYVE-1 protein. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
