Anti-LAG-3 (Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3, FDC Protein, CD223)

Murine lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG-3) is a 70kD activation-induced cell surface molecule that is also referred to as CD223. Murine CD223 is expressed on activated CD4 positive and CD8 positive alpha/beta T lymphocytes and a subset of natural killer (NK) cells. CD223 binds to MHC class II molecules with high affinity and is reported to negatively regulate T cell homeostasis and T cell expansion. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Functional Assays. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Cells from immunized Lewis rats were fused with cells of the Sp/20 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
