Product information "Anti-Kv1.2 (Kcna2, Voltage-gated Potassium Channel)"
Potassium channel Kv1.2 is one of many different types of potassium channels in the cell. The Kv family of potassium channels seem to have a conserved homotetramer formation consisting of four voltage sensors and one pore domain. Kv1.2 cooperates with cortactin (an actin cytoskeleton-binding protein) and together they may have a part in the regulation of the ionic current. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml detects Kv1.2 on 10ug of rat brain membrane tissue lysate., Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:500. Heat-induced epitope retrieval in citrate buffer, pH 6.0, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
