Anti-KIF2A (Kinesin Heavy Chain Member 2A, Kinesin-like Protein KIF2A, HK2, Kinesin 2, KNS2, M-Kines

Kif2a is a kinesin-like motor protein that depolymerizes microtubules. It is found in several vertebrate cell types but is strongly expressed in neuronal cells. In dividing cells it is required for bipolar spindle formation and chromosome segregation. In neuronal cells it is involved in neurite outgrowth. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
