Anti-Interleukin-8 (IL-8)

Applications: , Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: Approximately 0.1ug/well of rhIL-8 can be detected using this polyclonal antibody at a concentration of 2.6ng/ml , Western Blot: Polyclonal antibody concentration of 260ng/ml will allow visualization of approximately 5ug/lane of rhIL-8 , Neutralizing activity: Total chicken IgY fraction at the concentration of 50ug/ml showed 60% inhibition of 10ng/ml IL-8 induced IL8RB/293 cell migration , Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
