Anti-Interleukin 2 (IL-2, Aldesleukin, Lymphokine, T Cell Growth Factor, TCGF) (Biotin)

Interleukin 2 is a multi-functional cytokine which signals through the IL-2 receptor complex (IL-2R), and is principally involved in the stimulation of the T cell proliferative response, promoting T cell clonal expansion and the expansion of T memory cells expressing low levels of high-affinity IL-2R. Interleukin 2 also stimulates the growth and differentiation if B-cells, monocytes, NK cells, marcophages, and lymphokine activated killer cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 0.25-1ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
