Anti-Interleukin 17C (IL-17C)

Interleukin 17C (IL-17C) is a disulfide-linked dimer belonging to the IL-17 family. IL-17 family proteins are pro-inflammatory cytokines that induce local cytokine production and are involved in the regulation of immune functions. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 25ug/10e6 using Tramp-C1 cells mouse prostate cancer cell line. For intracellular staining to detect IL-17C, cells must first be fixed and permeabilized using paraformaldehyde and saponin in PBS. The binding of unlabeled monoclonal antibodies may be visualized by adding a secondary developing reagent such as anti-rat IgG (PE)., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
