Anti-Interleukin 10 (IL-10, Cytokine Synthesis Inhibitory Factor, CSIF)

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is produced by a population of T cells. IL-10 is expressed by activated CD8+ peripheral blood T-cells, activated T-helper CD4+ T cell clones mast cells, B cell lymphomas and LPS activated monocytes. It has a wide range of biological properties, including inhibition of macrophage and T helper cell mediated cytokine synthesis suppression of the delayed hypersensivity response. Reports suggest that IL-10 may initially be involved in the polarization the Th2 responses. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilization is required., Western Blot: 1:100-1:250, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment and sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, prior to staining., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. IHC Positive Control: Human tonsil, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
