Anti-Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1b), clone 3H190

Interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta), one of the major caspase-1 targets, is a multifunctional cytokine that is involved in a host of immune and proinflammatory responses. It is produced primarily by activated monocytes and macrophages. It signals through various adaptor proteins and kinases that lead to activation of numerous downstream targets. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 20-100ng/ml will allow visualization of 100ng/lane of human IL-1B. , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
