Anti-Interferon gamma (IFN-gamma)

Mature Interferon gamma (IFN-gamma) is a homodimeric cytokine produced primarily by T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells. IFN-gamma has many immunoregulatory and proinflammatory activities. It binds to IFN-gamma receptors present on virtually all cell types. The 17kD mature bovine IFN-gamma shares 97% aa sequence identity with ovine IFN-gamma and 77%-80% with canine, equine, and porcine IFN-gamma. It shares 61%, 40%, and 42% identity with human, mouse, and rat IFN-gamma, respectively., , Applications: , Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, PBS.. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
