Product information "Anti-IL-13Ralpha2"

The protein encoded by this gene is closely related to Il13RA1, a subuint of the interleukin 13 receptor complex. This protein binds IL13 with high affinity, but lacks cytoplasmic domain, and does not appear to function as a signal mediator. It is reported to play a role in the internalization of IL13. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008], Protein function: Binds as a monomer with high affinity to interleukin-13 (IL13), but not to interleukin-4 (IL4). [The UniProt Consortium] Recommended dilutions: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. IHC-p: 1:100-1:300. ELISA: 1/10000. Not yet tested in other applications.. Cellular localization: Membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein.
