Product information "Anti-HSP40 (DnaJ Homolog Subfamily B Member 1, Heat Shock 40kD Protein 1, Heat Shock Protein 40, Dna"
The Hsp40 (heat shock protein with molecular size of approximately 40kD) is one of the mammalian homologues of bacterial DnaJ heat shock protein. Ohtsuka (1993) isolated a cDNA encoding a 40kD heat-shock protein designated HSPF1. The deduced 340aa HSPF1 protein is 34% identical to E. coli DnaJ and 34% and 36% identical to HSJ1 and HSJ2, respectively. HSPF1 gene spans over 7kb and contains 3 exons and 2 introns. HSPF1 gene is mapped to chromosome 19p13.2. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile dH20. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
