A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with GRP78 from Human, Mouse, Rat, Cow, Cryphonectria parasitica, Hamster, Monkey, Rabbit, and Xenopus based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with GRP78 from other sources has not been determined. Heat Shock research. Protein function: Probably plays a role in facilitating the assembly of multimeric protein complexes inside the ER. [The UniProt Consortium]
