Anti-Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor Receptor (G-CSFR, CD114), clone 3H135

Granulocyte colony stimulating factor receptor (G-CSFR) exists on the cell surface of the hematopoietic progenitor cell in bone marrow, in mature hematopoietic cells and stromal cells. Binding with granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) to the extracellular ligand-binding region of G-CSFR triggers G-CSFR to form homodimer. The conformational changes in G-CSFR activate the cytoplasmic portion of the receptor and trigger signal transduction through Jak Lyn, Stat and erk1/2. The pathway is important for hematopoiesis and was found to be implicated in congenital neutropenia, myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml will allow visualization of 250ng/lane of human G-CSFR-MBP. Recognizes denatured G-CSFR following SDS-PAGE., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
