Anti-Glutathione-S-Transferase (GST), Biotin conjugated, clone 3H2162

Glutathione S-transferase is a 26kD protein from Schistosoma japonicum. GST is utilized as a fusion protein in protein expression from a range of prokaryotic expression vectors, including the pGEX family of vectors. Antibodies against GST will detect the expressed GST protein or a GST-fusion protein, and can be utilized for immuno-purification of GST-fusion proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:100-1:500, Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NSO myeloma cell line. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: S7973-92F2: Streptavidin (PE), S7973-96B: Streptavidin (FITC), Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
