Anti-Ghrelin

Specific ligand for the growth hormone secretagogue receptor type 1 (GHSR) inducing the release of growth hormne from the pituitary. It may have an appetite-stimulating effect, induces adiposity and stimulates gastric acid secretion. Involved in growth regulation. Mainly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract with higher levels in the stomach, medium levels in the duodenum, jejunum, ileum and colon. low expression in the testis and brain. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
