Fibrinogen is a 340kD glycoprotein which plays an important role in the coagulation process. Fibrinogen activation is also involved in cellular and matrix interactions, the inflammatory response, cardiovascular disease and neoplasia. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:5000-1:50,000, Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:400, Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
