Product information "Anti-FGFR1, NT (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1, FGFR-1, Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor"
The fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 belongs to the FGF Receptor subfamily. The full-length protein consists of an extracellular region, composed of three immunoglobulin-like domains, a single hydrophobic membrane-spanning segment and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. Ligand binding results in the activation of a cascade of downstream signals, ultimately influencing mitogenesis and differentiation. Various isoforms of FGFR1 have been identified that differ in structure and specificity. Defects in FGFR1 cause craniofacial abnormalities in diseases such as Pfeiffer syndrome and Jackson-Weiss syndrome. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
